NBA Saturday presents us with 9 games on today’s slate. The Lakers (+1.5) finish their road trip in New Orleans today as LeBron is currently 63 points away from the record. The Nets (-3) are at home against the Washington Wizards and all eyes are on Kyrie Irving after news broke yesterday that he is demanding a trade before next weeks deadline.
At night, we are gifted the Eastern Conference rivalry of Heat vs Bucks (-5) and many were excited about Mavericks vs Warriors (-10), until Luka’s most recent injury that will hold him out at least 5 games. Let’s look into my favorite player props on the night.

Brandon Ingram (NOL) over 23.5 points (-110)
Line available at BetMGM at the time of publishing.
Ingram has been back for 4 games and hit this line only once. However, he’s been very consistent in a few ways since returning. For starters, he’s getting to the FT line regularly with 5+ FTA in each game. Secondly, he’s had 17+ FGA in every game, showing that he’s not wasting anytime getting back to being the focal point of this struggling Pelicans offense. His most recent game against the Mavericks reminded me of why Ingram was considered Kevin Durant-lite. He’s able to get to his spot on the floor and at any point get his shot off. The mid-range game has improved as Ingram looks like he’s finally adding some weight to his lean frame. Outside of LeBron, I don’t see many of this roster that can matchup with Ingram on the perimeter and James rarely draws the toughest assignment defensively these days. In his last 3 games against his former team, Ingram has put up 29,26, and 19. 1U
Ivica Zubac (LAC) under 19.5 points and rebounds (-120)
Line available at PointsBet at the time of publishing.
The Knicks are a tough out for any center in the league these days. Jericho Sims and Isaiah Hartenstein are very difficult matchups for Zubac in the post as they both possess a good amount of athleticism and size. What really intrigues me about this matchup is personnel wise, I can see Zubac being played off the floor as both teams will likely go small at some point, with Julius Randle and Marcus Morris as a small ball center. The Knicks give up the 2nd fewest points in the paint all season and 3rd fewest at home. Zubac has looked good lately against teams without true low-post centers (Clint Capela, Brook Lopez, Nikola Vucevic), but when confronted with true big men (Jarret Allen, Jacob Poeltl) Zubac falls short. 1U

Deandre Ayton (PHO) over 19.5 points (-114)
Line available at BetRivers at the time of publishing
Ayton has hit this line in 4 of the L5 as the Suns are now on a back-to-back. Over 5 b2b games this season, Ayton is averaging 23ppg. As far as the opponent, Detroit is giving up the 3rd most points in the paint over the L3 and 2nd most all season. In one game this season vs the Pistons, Ayton had 28 points. 1U
