The Los Angeles Lakers will be aiming to keep their playoff push going with a win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening game. That will be followed by another LA team as the Clippers welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves to town. With the season approaching its final stretch, wins are vital for the teams who are in the playoff mix. With a packed night ahead, let’s dive straight into my best player prop selections for the action.

Damian Lillard over 37.5 points (-115)
Damian Lillard has been sensational for the Portland Trail Blazers. After an outstanding 71-point performance in his last outing, I am expecting him to stay hot tonight. He has managed at least 38 points in each of his last 4 games for the Trail Blazers. The last time he failed to reach that was earlier this month against this Golden State Warriors team. He still managed 33 in that game, despite making just 1 of 7 from beyond the arc. With the Warriors 22nd in the NBA in defensive rating over the last 10 games, it is tough to see them containing him like that from the perimeter again. Lillard has made at least 5 3-pointers in each game since. An uptick in his perimeter scoring should allow him to break the 40-point mark once more.

Walker Kessler over 3.5 steals and blocks (+135)
This will be the second straight game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Utah Jazz, and Walker Kessler put on a defensive clinic in the first one. He was able to record 5 blocks and a steal and should be capable of replicating that tonight. He now has 15 blocks over his last 3 games. While he has only 1 steal during that stretch, he is going to be up against a team leading the league in turnovers over the last 10 games. The steals act as a nice insurance on this line. The Spurs are just 23rd in the league in 3-point percentage and should look to go inside for more efficient scoring. Its where Kessler should be able to stop them. With his matchup Zach Collins making less than a 3-pointer per game, the Jazz rookie should never be too far away from the paint as a help defender. Expect that to translate to blocks tonight.

Pascal Siakam over 24.5 points (-115)
Pascal Siakam has been leading the charge for the Toronto Raptors. His 26.9 points per game in February have helped them to a 7-3 record over their last 10 games. Look for another strong scoring performance for him against the Bulls tonight. He has 7 straight games of 25 or more points and should prove to be a difficult matchup in the post for Patrick Williams. He may spend some time on the court as a small-ball center which should allow him to utilise his speed against Nikola Vucevic. With the Raptors’ leading playmaker Fred VanVleet likely back in the fold too, look for Siakam to be a bigger threat in pick-and-roll situations. On recent form, I’ll back him to put together another strong showing.
