Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. Tonight represents a quiet night in the NBA with just 2 games on the slate. However, those games will be significant for those in action. The Golden State Warriors will be looking to pick up their first road win of the season after dropping their first 4 games. The Orlando Magic, on the other hand, will be hoping to climb off the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Then later, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to avenge their loss to the Denver Nuggets earlier in the season.

You can lock in our NBA picks on the side and total for both of those games, but for now, let’s dive into the best player prop bets for tonight’s slate.

Draymond Green over 20.5 points + rebounds + assists (-106)

Draymond Green of the Warriors will have a huge role to play in tonight’s game. Going up against a big Orlando Magic squad, he will likely draw the assignment of picking up rookie sensation Paolo Banchero. That should help ensure he plays over 30 minutes tonight, which would set him up well to hit this over. He has recorded a combined 21 or more points, rebounds and assists in 4 of his last 5 games and he could be set to do it once more here.

The Warriors are likely to try and test the rookie power forward by running screen-and-roll action with Green. That should help create both scoring and assisting opportunities for the Warriors man. Teams do tend to hedge on the screens, ignoring Green when he rolls to the rim which can set him up well to attack the basket. He was particularly successful in doing this recently against the Charlotte Hornets. We could see something similar tonight. With the Magic also ranking 23rd in the league in true shooting percentage, there should be plenty of misses for him to chase down too. Back the over on this one.

Nikola Jokic over 13.5 rebounds (+102)

The Nuggets and the Thunder have already faced off once this season, with Nikola Jokic able to put together his best rebounding performance of the season. The Serbian pulled down 16 rebounds in that one, which marked the 3rd time in 5 games that he managed 16 or more against the Thunder. With the hosts tonight 28th in the league in true shooting percentage, Jokic will have his opportunities to go after more rebounds tonight.

Matchup-wise, the man tasked with keeping Jokic in check will be Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. The forward is only listed at 6’8” and will be giving up a size and bulk advantage to Jokic. The Thunder man has recently gone up against a player with a similar build to Jokic in Ivica Zubac. The Clippers center was dominant on the glass in 2 efforts against him, recording totals of 14 and 18 rebounds. A player of Jokic’s caliber should be able to put together a similarly dominant performance.
