Although there are just 4 games on the NBA slate, it looks bound to be must-watch TV. Ben Simmons will be taking to the court in Philadelphia for the first time since it played Game 7 of the 2020-21 playoffs against Atlanta. The Philadelphia crowd is renown for its unforgiving nature, so it will be interesting to see what sort of welcome is given to its former all-star.

Ben Simmons Over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)
This is going to be a fun game for Ben Simmons. The 76ers fans are likely going to give him a tough time considering the manner of his exit. Luckily for the Nets guard, he is coming into this game in form. He has produced back-to-back games of combined 35 points, rebounds and assists. This has been spurred on by his reintroduction to the starting lineup. Considering that he is finally looking like the Simmons of old and the Brooklyn Nets have won 2 straight games, do not expect that or his role to change tonight.
Simmons will be helped tonight by the absence of Joel Embiid for the 76ers. The center is the best rim protector available for the home team. Considering that is the only area of the floor that the Australian is effective scoring from is the paint, it will make his life much easier. With back-to-back games scoring a season high in points, he should be well set to set up the over with his points alone. Considering that he is a triple-double threat on a nightly basis, the over on PRA looks like the bet to make here.

Jaden Ivey Over 1.5 made threes (+114)
With Cade Cunningham sitting for the Detroit Pistons, Jaden Ivey has stepped up and taken reigns of their offense. A part of that job for him includes being a perimeter threat, something he has not shied away from in recent games. Over the last 5 games the guard is averaging 6.2 attempts. That includes a season-high 9 against the Los Angeles Lakers 1 game ago. Considering he is making 32.9% of his 3-pointers on the season, that level of aggression makes this a good value look.
The Nuggets should represent a good opponent against which Ivey can be aggressive from the perimeter. On the season they currently rank 19th in opponent 3-point attempts per game and 17th in opponent 3-point makes. Given that Ivey has so far proven to be a below average shooter, the Nuggets should be willing to give up the 3-point shot — especially when factoring in how explosive he can be in the paint. Considering the green light that the rookie has on this rebuilding Pistons team, he should get enough attempts up to knock down a couple of perimeter shots.
