There are 7 games on the NBA slate on Tuesday night. One of the featured games will be the nationally televised matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors. Both teams started the season with title aspirations but at the half way point find themselves hovering around the .500 mark. With Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks taking on Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers to close out the night, the Western Conference will be bringing all the action tonight. Be sure to read our NBA predictions for each of tonight’s games, but for now, let’s dive into my best NBA player prop picks.
Mason Plumlee over 22.5 points + rebounds (-122)
Mason Plumlee has been in terrific form for the Charlotte Hornets. The center has averaged 14.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game over his last 10 outings. He is making 75% of his field goal attempts in the process. He will be up against a Toronto Raptors team that has been destroyed by physical big men lately. Over their last 3 games, Jusuf Nurkic, Mitchell Robinson and Brook Lopez have all managed at least 18 rebounds against them.
Teams have been putting their bigs up against Scottie Barnes. The sophomore has been inconsistent at hitting his jump shots this season, allowing bigs to just drop off and defend the paint. That puts them in a great rebounding position. The points are a nice insurance on this line. Look for Plumlee to put together a strong double-double.

Jarrett Allen over 23.5 points + rebounds (-108)
When these teams faced off earlier in the season, Jarrett Allen had one of his stronger performances. The center finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes of playing time. If this game is not a blowout and he gets closer to the 35.5 minutes he averaged in December, he could improve on those numbers here.
Up against him will be Jarred Vanderbilt. The center will be giving up a size and weight advantage to Allen. On top of that, he is highly ineffective outside of the paint, making just 23.1% of his 3-point attempts over the last 10 games. It should allow Allen to stay in the paint and dominate the boards. The Jazz are 28th in the league in opponent second-chance points per game this season and dead last in opponent points in the paint. It’s a combination that should suit the Cavaliers’ center’s skill set very well.

Jerami Grant over 4.5 rebounds (-115)
Over the last 10 Portland Trail Blazer games, forward Jerami Grant has averaged 5.4 rebounds. He will be looking to keep that going here against the Orlando Magic. Grant will have an important role to play in slowing down rookie Paolo Banchero here. He reached 40 minutes of playing time in his last outing against the Raptors and could be in line for similar usage tonight. That would give him more opportunities to collect boards here.
Over the last 10 games, the Magic are 18th in true shooting percentage and 21st in rebounding percentage. A combination that should favor opposing rebounders. With Wendell Carter Jr. making 35.7% of his 3-pointers this month, he should be able to pull Jusuf Nurkic away from the rim, opening up rebounding opportunities for the likes of Grant.
