I was able to go 4-0 on my spread and total picks last night, so I’m hoping to translate my form into the player prop bets today! We have a total of 9 games being played this Sunday in the Association and I’ve picked out my 3 favorite bets.

Bojan Bogdanovic to score 20+ points (-160)
You won’t find many things in the NBA consistent as Bojan Bogdanovic scoring 20 points. He has done so in his last 5 games in a row and in 7 of his last 8. After averaging 21.6 points per game in December, he has upped that now to 23.7 per game in January and his shooting percentages have risen as well. From the field he’s at 54% success rate, up from 46%. He’s also knocking down 3 threes per game on 56.3%, up from 2.6 per game on 42.3% last month.
He didn’t have the best of games against Philadelphia earlier this season, scoring just 10 points, so I’m sure he will want to make amends tonight in front of the home fans. There’s a good chance Joel Embiid might miss the game, which opens up the paint for Bogey to do some damage. The last 2 Philly opponents have put up 126 points each on them, so they are quite vulnerable defensively at the moment.

Terry Rozier over 2.5 made threes (-106)
Terry Rozier was one of the main reasons why the Charlotte Hornets dominated Giannis Antetokounmpo in their last game by 29 points. Charlotte came out firing right from the get-go, setting a franchise high with 51 points in the opening quarter. Rozier finished the game with a season-high 39 points, knocking down 6 of his 15 attempts from deep. That was the 3rd game in a row he had at least 3 threes, so he’s been on a good roll.
The Pacers are known for their struggles defending the perimeter. They allow 36.5% opponent threes to go in this season, that’s the 7th-worst mark in the NBA. Rozier has enjoyed some pretty big games against Indy lately, scoring 35, 20 and 17 points in his last 3 against them. He’s cleared this line twice in those 3 games and with LaMelo Ball finally playing on a consistent basis and attracting extra attention on offense, I see no reason why Rozier won’t do so again tonight.

Trae Young over 35.5 points + assists (-120)
To cap things off I have Trae Young going off against the shorthanded Clippers tonight. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both sitting out the game in Minnesota, we’re not sure if they’re even playing. George, who is supposed to be the primary defender on Young, is bothered by a hamstring injury which could slow him down on defense and Young will take full advantage if it comes to that. In 7 career games against LA he’s averaging 26.1 points and 8.9 assists per game, the last time he played them he finished with 27 points and 11 assists.
The Hawks’ leader in points per game is averaging 29.1 over his last 9 outings on solid 45.5% shooting from the field and 38.1% from three, plus he’s also dishing out 9.8 assists per game. In those 9 games he’s cleared this line a total of 7 times and with the Hawks playing one of the fastest tempos in the NBA, I think he does so again tonight against a Clippers side that’s clearly struggling with 5 losses in a row.
