It’s a loaded schedule in the NBA on Friday night with 13 games as the regular season is close to an end. Six games have a line of 5 points or fewer and 7 games have a total of at least 231 points with the Warriors-Spurs game the highest at 241.5 points. Here are my picks for tonight.

Jalen Williams over 27.5 points+assists (-120)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Whenever Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out, I bet Williams’ props. The books have raised the numbers slightly since Williams has been crushing it. Over the last 4 games, Williams has played 37, 34, 37 and 38 minutes. In the last 6 games without Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams is averaging 25 points and 6.5 assists. He has gone over this total in 5 of the last six without SGA and had at least 31 in 5 games. The Pacers have allowed at least 120 points in 4 straight games and are 26th in defensive efficiency. Williams gets an increase in usage by 4.5% to 23.1% without SGA and has a 23% assist rate without SGA.

Jaden Ivey over 25.5 points+assists (-135 )

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The rookie guard is finishing the season strong for Detroit. Ivey is having his best month of the season, averaging 18.3 points and 6.9 assists per game. Ivey has been more aggressive in recent games taking 19, 13, 18 and 19 shots from the field over the last 4 games. Ivey has a 32.8% usage rate over the last 3 games and has at least 5 assists in 9 straight games. Over the last 3 games, Ivey has 20 points and 8 assists, 32 points and 8 assists and 24 points and 9 assists against the Bucks, Raptors and Thunder. The way to attack the Rockets this season is with guard play. The Rockets rank 29th in defensive efficiency. The Rockets allow 28.6 points per game and 9.51 assists to point guards and 24.51 points and 4.76 assists to shooting guards.
