Best NBA player prop bets at BetMGM today, 3/20: Domantas Sabonis does it all

Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis (10) celebrates with guard De'Aaron Fox (5) against the Detroit Pistons during the fourth quarter at Golden 1 Center.

It’s a new week in the NBA and with March Madness taking a break until the Sweet 16, it’s time to dial up some player prop bets in the association. We’ve got a 6-game slate to look forward to and that’s more than enough to dig out a few prop plays with BetMGM. I’m Prop Prophet, and I’m here to help you bet better with Pickswise. We’re going to dive into the best NBA player props at BetMGM, where you’ll find some great odds available. Let’s dive in.

Domantas Sabonis over 41.5 points+rebounds+assists (-120)

Domantas Sabonis has been rolling lately. He’s topped this number in 3 of his last 4 games, and the only time he didn’t he landed right on 41. Now, he gets to take on a Jazz team that ranks 25th in defensive rating and the game total is set at 239.5. In both previous games against the Jazz this season, Sabonis was also able to eclipse this number. Admittedly, the Jazz have been hot against centers lately, thanks to the stellar play of breakout rookie Walker Kessler, but I’m expecting him to have all he can handle against Sabonis and for the big Lithuanian to prove why he is one of the hottest players in the NBA right now. Expect a high-scoring game where Sabonis plays his part on both sides of the court.

Klay Thompson under 3.5 threes (+125)

Klay Thompson has had a tough time shooting the three-ball of late. He’s sunk just 7 from downtown across his last 3 games and has failed to top this number in each of those. He does get a somewhat favorable matchup tonight against the Rockets, who rank 28th in the NBA in opponent three-point percentage, but that does actually improve to 18th when they’re playing at home. Admittedly, Klay has dominated the Rockets from three-point land this season, but given his recent struggles I’m expecting some regression from that department. Further, expect Stephen Silas to focus on shutting down Thompson after getting burned by him previously. It’s a bit of a tall order, but getting +125 odds for this play is too good to pass up.
