Following an off night in the association to give center stage to the NCAA Tournament National Championship, the NBA week begins with a massive 13-game slate on Tuesday. It is highlighted by a showdown at 8:00 pm ET on TNT between the Celtics and the 76ers. The Bucks, Grizzlies, Lakers, Warriors and Suns are also taking the court. Needless to say, there are plenty of options for the betting public.
With that, allow me to introduce myself – or reintroduce myself if you aren’t a first-time reader. I’m Prop Prophet, and I’m here to help you bet better with Pickswise. Franz Wagner (ORL) Over 1.5 3-pointers made (-120)
Available at Bet365 Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Franz Wagner has drained multiple 3-pointers in 2 of the last 3 games and in 4 of the last 8. That includes a 5-for-12 effort against Memphis last Tuesday. He is shooting a respectable 36.4% from 3 during the 2022-23 campaign and is 8-for-18 on treys over the past 3 games.
The former Michigan standout now has a very favorable matchup with the Cavaliers, who are #24 in the NBA in opponents’ 3-point percentage (37.1%). They have been especially horrendous at defending the perimeter of late, allowing teams to shoot 43.7 percent from deep over the last 3 games (2nd worst in the league during this stretch). Wagner went 2-for-4 from the land of plenty in his most recent outing against Cleveland.

John Collins (ATL) Over 12.5 points (-113)
Available at Bet365 Sportsbook at time of publishing.
John Collins has gone over this number in 7 of the last 9 games, a stretch that includes more than 20 points on 2 occasions. He scored 18 points against Dallas this past Sunday. He also shot at least 50% from the floor in 6 of the last 9.
The 25-year-old will have to shoulder a sizable load on Tuesday against the Bulls. De’Andre Hunter (knee) is definitely out and Trae Young (illness) is questionable. Collins has already logged at least 30 minutes in 4 of the last 6 contests and has attempted a double-digit number of field goals in 7 of the last 9. Even if Young ends up playing, Collins should get a ton of court time and deliver a solid volume of shots with Hunter — a fellow forward — on the shelf. Look for the former Wake Forest star to score at least in the teens at Chicago’s expense.
