After a packed night of NBA action yesterday, we get just 4 games tonight. The highlight of these, however, will be the matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Toronto Raptors. The first time the sides met this season, the Raptors nearly pulled off a thrilling 4th quarter comeback, but ended up coming a point short of forcing overtime. They should be out for revenge tonight.

Luka Doncic over 8.5 assists (+108)
The Toronto Raptors are not averse to double teaming opponent star players, forcing them to give up the ball. They done this successfully earlier in the season against the Chicago Bulls and DeMar DeRozan, and could give Luka Doncic the same treatment tonight. The Slovenian has phenomenal vision and could use the fact to pad his assists numbers tonight. After all, the Raptors are 24th in the league in opponent assists per game.
Over the last 3 games, Doncic has been able to record at least 9 assists on 2 occasions and could look to keep this going here. Last season against the Raptors, he recorded 9.5 per contest. The hosts here are also 7th in the league in blocks per game. With Chris Boucher and Christian Koloko keen to contest every shot in the paint, there should be lob or kick-out opportunities for Doncic too. Look for the Raptors to do a great job of getting the ball away from Doncic tonight, which should help his assists rack up here.
