There are 3 games on the NBA slate on Tuesday night. In each one, a team is going to be fighting for their survival. Each of the series is currently tied 3-1 with the Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves facing the tough task of getting a road win to keep the series going. The Clippers were the only team of the 3 to pick up a win on their travels so far this postseason. They will be desperate for another tonight.

Hawks vs Celtics first basket best bet: John Collins (+1000)
Clint Capela has been able to gain the ball for the Hawks from tip in 3 of the 4 games of the series so far. Against an aging Al Horford, he should be favored once more here. From there, John Collins looks a good value selection. Without Dejounte Murray playing, the Boston Celtics will be focusing in on Trae Young, forcing him to give up the ball. With Collins struggling for efficiency so far in the series, the Celtics will be comfortable to have him be Young’s outlet. On the season, Collins made more than 50% of his field goal attempts. I expect him to get back to that at some point. If the Hawks can go to him early and establish him as a scoring threat, Young should have more space to operate. It helps that Collins has a height advantage over Jayson Tatum too.

Timberwolves vs Nuggets first basket best bet: Jamal Murray (+850)
Nikola Jokic has gotten the better of Rudy Gobert so far when it comes to jumping for tip. He has won the Nuggets the ball first in 3 of the 4 games. Jamal Murray took one of those opportunities to open the games scoring once already and I expect him to do the same tonight. Murray has been incredible playing in Denver this postseason. There he has been shooting at a 50% clip from beyond the arc and averaging 32 points through 2 games. After a couple of disappointing showings in Minnesota, look for him to come out aggressive from the start. Mike Conley remains a defensive liability for the visitors, with Murray well positioned to go straight at him.

Clippers vs Suns first basket best bet: Russell Westbrook (+950)
The Clippers are on the verge of being eliminated. With Paul George and Kawhi Leonard being out for Game 5, I am expecting a massive performance from Russell Westbrook. I think he will look to do it all today, and I can see him coming out aggressively here to open the games scoring. While Zubac has only won the opening possession once during the series, I fancy the Clippers to get stops and start strong. Westbrook and Powell are aggressive defenders in the backcourt and should be able to apply plenty of pressure. If they can force a turnover and attack in transition, Westbrook should have a great chance of finishing at the rim. He had 37 points in his last outing and will be the focal point of the Clippers offense once more.
