The NBA Playoffs continue on Tuesday night as 3 series continue. The Boston Celtics will be the only team in action tonight that was able to effectively defend their homecourt in Game 1. Having failed to do so, the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers will feel the pressure tonight. A loss here for either team would find them in a 2-0 hole and facing the prospect of 2 straight road games to try and save their seasons.

Knicks vs Cavaliers first basket best bet: Jalen Brunson (+650)
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson took the opening 2 shots in the first game of the series for the New York Knicks. He converted on both occasions. He went on to score a team-high 27 points. Do not be surprised to see him come out aggressive tonight looking to continue his hot shooting and he will have a great chance to have a first chance at the opening shot too. Mitchell Robinson has helped the Knicks gain the ball in 7 of their last 10 games. With him and Julius Randle able to create space for the guard with their screen setting ability, he should be able to create and get his shot off here. Especially with Brunson having a speed advantage over the likes of Isaac Okoro. Back him to open the scoring tonight.

Hawks vs Celtics first basket best bet: Dejounte Murray (+950)
Dejounte Murray took 3 of the first 5 shots against the Boston Celtics in the first game. And while he did not make the games opening shot, he did open the scoring for the Atlanta Hawks. Unsurprisingly Clint Capela was able to gain the Hawks the opening possession against the aging Al Horford. Do not be surprised to see him do the same again tonight. Going with a 2 bigs in the starting 5 allows the Hawks to effectively create space for their guards in pick-and-roll situations. With his speed and ability to get to the rim, expect the Celtics bigs to be back peddling trying to protect the paint. That should allow Murray to rise above for a pull up jump shot. He made over 50% of his shots from inside the arc in game 1 and should see continued success here.
