The Miami Heat continued their Cinderella run in this NBA postseason with another upset win on the road in Game 1 against the Boston Celtics. If they can do it again tonight, it would leave them in an incredibly strong position to return to the NBA Finals. Jayson Tatum and company will look to prevent that from happening. It will be no easy task considering the incredible form that Jimmy Butler is showing. I was able to hit both of my player prop selections in Game 1 of the series and will be hoping to build on that with 3 more picks.

Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (+104)
Jaylen Brown struggled from the perimeter in Game 1 of the series, but recent performances indicate he is likely to bounce back tonight. In his last 11 games, he has made 3 or more 3-pointers 8 times. The Heat are a team who let opponents get their shots off from the perimeter. Among the teams that made the playoffs this season, they rank 12th of 16 in opponent 3-point attempts per game. Brown attempted more 3-point shots than any other Celtic in Game 1 and should continue leading their perimeter attack tonight. With the guard making a staggering 44.7% of his shots from downtown in this postseason, he should not need too many attempts to hit the over.

Max Strus over 12.5 points (+100)
With Tyler Herro being lost for the postseason, Max Strus has stepped up admirably for the Heat. His 15-point performance against the Celtics in Game 1 marked the 6th straight game in which he has managed to score 14 or more points. With the defensive focus remaining on Butler and Bam Adebayo, the guard should be able to continue doing damage in an off the ball role tonight. He is making 48.5% of his attempts this postseason and has had double-digit shot attempts in each of the last 6 games. Considering he is knocked down at least 3 3-pointers in 5 of those games, a similar performance would set him up perfectly to hit the over. Strus is also making 83.3% of his free throws, so he is not wasteful from the charity stripe. He should put together a great performance.
Caleb Martin over 13.5 points + rebounds (-120)
I backed Caleb Martin to record over 13.5 points and rebounds in Game 1 and he delivered. The Heat forward managed a combined 19 and I am expecting something similar from him tonight too. As anticipated, he saw more minutes off the Heat bench than any other player, managing 30 on the night. I do not anticipate Kevin Love having a major role to play in this series, so Martin should continue to see his minutes grow. He is one of the key wing defenders they can deploy against Tatum and Brown. He has hit the over on this line in 9 of 12 games during these playoffs and seems terrific value to keep that going here. Martin has also recorded 8 or more rebounds in 3 of those games which could give this line a major boost.
