There are 9 games in the NBA Wednesday night. Five have a line of 4 or fewer points and 2 have double-digit lines. Three games have a total of at least 224 points. As always, stay up to date on the latest injury news since lines can change and COVID-19 is making a big impact. Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. My record is 52-38-1 for the season. Here are my picks for tonight.
Ja Morant over 27.5 points (-110 on FanDuel)
Ja Morant is on a tear. He has gone over this total in 7 straight games and is averaging 35.4 points in that span. He has scored at least 30 in each game and scored at least 35 points in 4. Morant has been extremely aggressive, taking at least 26 shots from the field in 6 of the last 7. Morant attacks the basket, leading to opportunities at the free-throw line. He has attempted at least 10 free throws in 4 of the last 5 games. The Knicks have struggled to defend point guards recently, allowing an average of 25 points the last 7 games. Morant will want to put on a show at Madison Square Garden.

Kevin Porter Jr. over 21.5 points + assists (-120 on Caesars)
Kevin Porter Jr. has consistently gone over this total over the last few weeks. He has gone over in 6 consecutive games with totals of 24, 30, 23, 25, 25 and 28. He had 17 points and 11 assists against the Warriors on Monday. The Rockets got blown out only once in the 6 games and Porter still had 16 points and 9 assists. He has at least 7 assists in 6 straight games and scored at least 16 points in 7 straight. The Cavaliers are favored by 5 on the road and will be without Darius Garland.
Anfernee Simons over 3.5 3-pointers (+120 on BetMGM)
We are going right back to this after it lost on Monday. Convenient amnesia is needed when you bet. Anfernee Simons has gone over this total in 7 of the last 8 games. He struggled on Monday, hitting only 2 3-pointers on 12 attempts. It was a back-to-back and the 5th game in 7 days for the Blazers and the 3rd consecutive road game. He averaged 4.5 3-pointers per game in January and 10.5 attempts per game. The Lakers allow the most points per game to point guards and Simons has taken 31 shots from 3-point range over the last 3 games. The Lakers allow 36.7 3-point attempts per game, which is 23rd in the NBA.
