There are 9 games on the slate Friday night in the NBA. Two games have a spread of at least 9 points or more and the rest are 5.5 points or fewer. Only 3 games have a total of 220 points or higher. As always, stay up date on the latest injury news since lines can change. Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. Here are my picks for tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans at Golden State Warriors (-9)

The Pelicans have been awful basketball and are playing their third road game in five nights and lost the two by 12 and 13 points. Zion Williamson has yet to play and Brandon Ingram has missed the last few games with a hip injury and is listed as questionable. The Pelicans have lost by an average of 10.3 points without Ingram. The Pelicans are 1-8 and the Warriors are 6-1. The only loss was in overtime to the Grizzlies. The Warriors are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games. Four of the 8 losses for the Pelicans have been by double-digits and the Warriors have won three games by double-digits, including the last two games. The Warriors are first in defensive efficiency, while the Pelicans are 29th.

Jarrett Allen Over 13.5 Points (-112 on FanDuel)

Allen has exploded the last two games with 24 points and 17 rebounds and 24 points and 16 rebounds. He has played 40 and 35 minutes in those games after playing more than 31 minutes twice in the first seven games. Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love have been out due to health protocols and Allen has taken advantage. Allen gets a good matchup against a Raptors front court lacking size.

Malcolm Brogdon Over 5.5 Assists (-130 on DraftKings)

Brogdon returned from a hamstring injury on Wednesday against the Knicks and had 7 assists in 36 minutes. Brogdon is averaging 7 assists per game and has gone over this total in 4 of 6 games. In one of the misses, he had 5 assists in only 22 minutes. Portland allows 28.9 assists per game, the most in the NBA and rank 24th in defensive efficiency. Both teams are Top 12 in pace.
