There are 9 games on the slate Monday night in the NBA. Three games have a spread of at least seven points or more. Only 2 games have a total of at least 220 points. As always, stay up to date on the latest injury news since lines can change. Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. Here are my picks for tonight.

Toronto Raptors at New York Knicks: Over 208.5 Points

The total has dropped and it’s too low. The Knicks aren’t the staunch defensive team they were last season, allowing 109.8 points per game, which is 19th in the NBA and rank 19th in defensive efficiency. The Knicks are better offensively this season with more depth. They rank third in offensive efficiency, second in points per game (117 points), ninth in pace, and fifth in shooting percentage. The Raptors are seventh in defensive efficiency and rank 29th in pace. The Raptors have had some low scoring games, including a 97-94 win in their last game over the Pacers, but they have gone over this total in three of the last four games. The Knicks are 4-2 to the over.

San Antonio Spurs +3 over Indiana Pacers

The Spurs are 2-4, but they are 2-4 ATS and have been competitive against good teams. They are coming off a 102-93 road win against the Bucks. They have lost by 5 to the Mavericks, by 4 to the Lakers, and by 6 to Denver. The Pacers aren’t close to those teams with a 1-6 record and Malcolm Brodgon and Caris LeVert are listed as questionable. The Spurs are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games. The Pacers are 2-4 ATS and are difficult to trust as favorites with the way they are playing.

Anthony Edwards: Over 5.5 Rebounds

-120 on FanDuel at time of publishing

Edwards is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game. He has at least 6 rebounds in all 5 games. He has at least 9 rebounds in 3 of the last 4 games, including 11 rebounds against Denver on Saturday. The Magic rank 14th in opponents rebounds per game. Minnesota is favored by 9 over the Magic and as long as it doesn’t become lopsided early, Edwards should play enough to go over.

Desmond Bane: Over 15.5 Points

+105 on BetMGM at time of publishing

Bane is averaging 18.8 points per game and helping fill the void with Dillon Brooks out. Bane has scored at least 17 points in all 6 games. Denver is second in defensive efficiency, but Bane has already produced against some top defensive teams. He scored 17 points in only 26 minutes Saturday against Miami, which ranks first in defensive efficiency. The prior game, he scored 19 points against Golden State, which ranks sixth in defensive efficiency. Bane has taken at least 12 shots from the field in every game and hit 14 three-pointers in the last three games.
