There are two playoff games on Wednesday night in the second round of the NBA playoffs. The Boston Celtics pulled out a road win in Game 4 and head back to Boston with the series tied at 2. The Memphis Grizzlies host the Golden State Warriors without Ja Morant and try to keep their season alive down 3-1 in the series.
My record is 101-76-1 for the season. Here are my player props picks for tonight.
Desmond Bane under 16.5 points (+100 on DraftKings)
Bane is struggling in the series against Golden State. He has been dealing with a back injury and the Grizzlies guard doesn’t look close to the player he was in the first round against Minnesota. With Ja Morant out in Game 4 and more shots to go around, Bane only took 8 shots in 37 minutes. He is shooting 36.5 percent from the field, including 38% from 3-point range after averaging 46 percent in the first round. The Warriors have done a good job defending Bane and he doesn’t look healthy. He has scored 9, 5, 16 and 8 points in the games against Golden State. That’s a dismal average of 9.5 ppg.
Steven Adams over 15.5 points+rebounds (-115 on Caesars)
Adams was back in the rotation in Game 4 and played 27 minutes. He had 10 points and 15 rebounds, shooting 5-for-9 from the field. Adams will be a force on the boards, especially against Golden State, which lacks size. The Grizzlies center averaged 9.5 points and 13.7 rebounds per 36. Adams had 8 points and 9 rebounds in only 20 minutes against the Warriors on March 28 and 12 points and 7 rebounds against Golden State on Oct. 28. If Adams gets 25 minutes, he will come close to this total on rebounds alone.
