There are two Game 6 playoff games on Friday night in the second round of the NBA playoffs. The Milwaukee Bucks earned a great comeback in Game 5 on the road and host the Boston Celtics with a 3-2 lead in the series. The Golden State Warriors could advance to the Western Conference Finals with a win at home over the Memphis Grizzlies.
My record is 102-77-1 for the season. Here are my player props picks for tonight.
Stephen Curry over 27.5 points (-115 on DraftKings)
The Warriors were embarrassed in Game 5 and the starters barely played in the second half. They now return home, where they play much better and have another chance to end the series. Curry plays better at home, too. In the 2 home games in the series, the Warriors’ star guard has 30 and 32 points and made 23 trips to the free-throw line. In 5 home playoff games this postseason, Curry has scored 16, 34, 30, 30 and 32 points and is shooting 48.4 percent from the field. In the 3 competitive games so far against Memphis, Curry has taken 20, 25 and 20 shots from the field.
Steven Adams over 17.5 points+rebounds (-115 on BetMGM)
We played this prop on Wednesday and it has increased by 1. Adams got back into the rotation in Game 4 and had 10 points and 15 rebounds in 27 minutes. In Game 5, the Grizzlies’ center had 7 points and 13 rebounds in only 22 minutes due to the blowout. Adams has a size advantage over the Warriors and will therefore grab a lot of rebounds. Based on the last 2 games Adams will get close to this on rebounds alone, so his lack of scoring won’t be a problem.
