There is one game on Friday night in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6. The Grizzlies lead the series, 3-2. Bets may be added throughout the day if additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. My record is 96-71-1 for the season. Here are my player props picks for tonight.
Desmond Bane over 20.5 points (-120 on Caesars)
Bane has been lighting it up the last few games. The Grizzlies guard has scored 26, 34 and 25 points the last 3 games. He is averaging 23.6 points in the series and has shot 18-for-35 from three-point range the last 3 games. Bane has shot better on the road this season compared to home and Game 6 is in Minnesota. At home, Bane is shooting 44 percent from the field compared to 48.1 percent on the road and 39.1 percent from three-point range on the road, while shooting 47.6 percent from beyond the arc on the road.
Ja Morant over 16.5 rebounds+assists (-140 on DraftKings)
Morant’s scoring is down in the series with an average of 22.4 points per game and has scored 16 points or fewer twice. Morant scored 30 points in Game 5, hitting some clutch baskets in the final quarter. Morant has been going over this total easily over the last 4 games. He had 9 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 2, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 3, 8 rebounds and 15 assists in Game 4 and 13 rebounds and 9 assists in Game 5. With Steven Adams not a factor in the series, Morant is getting a much bigger share of the rebounds.
