Basketball is back! The 2024-25 NBA season gets started tonight with a couple of red-hot showdowns to get excited for. Up first, we have the reigning champion Boston Celtics taking on the title-contending New York Knicks at the TD Garden. The Celtics went 37-4 at home during the regular season in 2023-24, but the Knicks will look to prove they are a team to watch out for following the additions of Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges. That game is followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves, now with Julius Randle in their lineup, taking on the father-son duo of LeBron and Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
