Raptors vs Bucks Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Raptors just pulled off back-to-back shockers over Golden State and Boston, winning as 4.5-point and 12.5-point underdogs. Once again the odds are not in their favor as they head to Milwaukee for a date with the Bucks as 11.5-point ‘dogs. Toronto has not been competitive at all in road games this year, recording just 1 win in 19 games so far. Right now the Raptors are on an 8-game losing streak in away games and are just 2-12 SU in their last 14 overall against East teams. So can they upset the Bucks? In theory yes, but it is not in their best interest if they want to get that top 3 pick in the draft.
Milwaukee is on a solid run, having won 5 of 6 games and 13 of 17 at home. The Bucks just blew out the Kings and Magic in back-to-back games and Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a strong month, averaging 27.3 points, 12.6 rebounds and 6.6 assists in January. Despite all the winning, though, Milwaukee has not been all that reliable covering the spread — doing so just 9 times in 21 home games. This team relies heavily on the 3-point shoot; on certain nights that shot just won’t go in and that’s why Milwaukee has lost a lot of games that it should really be winning.
Before betting on this game, you have to ask yourself do you trust the Bucks or not. They have beaten the Raptors twice this season by 14 and 24 points, and Friday’s game wraps up the regular-season series. Toronto is just 2-12 SU in 14 games vs the East and poor form on the road is just hard to ignore. I’m taking the Bucks.
