Suns vs Bulls Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls are on a combined 9-game losing streak heading into Saturday’s matchup in the Windy City. Someone has to win, so my Suns vs Bulls pick is on the visitors to get the job done and cover the spread. Phoenix has dropped 4 in a row following Thursday’s 120-109 setback at the San Antonio Spurs. If there is any good news for the Suns it’s that Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal are all healthy and on the court at the same time. It’s a rare occurrence, but it’s finally happening now. Durant has scored at least 34 points in 2 of the past 3 games.
Chicago is also in dreadful form. It has lost 5 consecutive contests, including by margins of 18, 19, 21 and 40 points. Patrick Williams and Jalen Smith are out, Ayo Dosunmu is questionable and Nikola Vucevic is probable along with Josh Giddey. Williams, Smith and Dosunmu are all contributors, so even in a best-case scenario the Bulls will be somewhat undermanned on Saturday. Zach LaVine finally got traded at the deadline, so Chicago does not have anyone on the current roster averaging 20 points per game. Even when healthy, the Suns are bad. Fortunately for them, the Bulls are even worse — a lot worse, in fact.
Suns vs Bulls prediction: Phoenix -3.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
