The 76ers success this season has been hinged on the presence of Embiid. The 76ers started the season with Embiid on the bench with an injury and only managed to win 3 of their first 17 games. With Embiid back, Philadelphia turned their fortunes around winning 11 of their next 16 games. And now that Embiid is once again on the injury shelf, the 76ers have lost 6 of their last 7 games. With young players such as Justin Edwards and Jeff Dowtin Jr. leading the 76ers second unit, head coach Nick Nurse does not have the necessary tools to compete with another great team for 48 minutes. Alongside Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks sport one of the deeper lineups in the NBA, averaging 36.6 points per game from their second unit. The Bucks already beat the 76ers 124-109 in Philadelphia back in October, and I expect them to do the same tonight on their home court as the 76ers come in off a back-to-back.
