Saturday’s early tip-off will see the Knicks and Hawks battle for the 5th and final time this season, in a series that has been mostly dominated by the home team. With the 3rd seed pretty much wrapped up, this gives the Knicks an opportunity to test some things out. Jalen Brunson could make a return following his ankle injury. Getting into rhythm over these last 6 or so games could be crucial down the stretch in the postseason. The Knicks are 5-2 ATS/SU over their last 7 games.

Atlanta’s run over the past 5 games has been less than impressive, to say the least. They’ve won just 1 of 5 games, however they’ve made bettors a lot of money by covering the spread in 6 of their past 8. Injuries have been an issue all year long, for Saturday’s game they’ll be without Clint Capela, so defending the paint will be a problem here. The last meeting between these two saw both teams score 70+ points on the inside, that could be a sign of things to come in Saturday’s game. Atlanta will be counting on their home form here, at State Farm Arena they’ve come out victorious 6 times in 8 games.

I’m more in favor of backing the points here if I’m being honest. Atlanta has been consistent in home games going 24-13 on the O/U, plus the last 5 of 6 meetings at State Farm Arena have seen the over cash. The last time they played there we saw 237 points, so I’m going for the points once again here.
