Memphis Grizzlies vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/02/24
Grizzlies vs 76ers Pickswise Expert Predictions
East meets West tonight in Philadelphia as the 76ers host the Memphis Grizzlies. Will we finally see Joel Embiid suit up? Find out who we like in our Grizzlies vs 76ers predictions.
At 3-3 the Memphis Grizzlies will be satisfied with how their season has started, they come into this game after annihilating the Milwaukee Bucks 122-99. Ja Morant has looked really good after missing most of last season due to injury, however injuries have already started to pile up for the Grizz with Luke Kennard, Marcus Smart and Desmond Bane all out for this game. Memphis has had the upper hand in head-to-head meetings winning 14 of the las 20, however they are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 visits to Philly. Neither Paul George or Joel Embiid are yet to play a single minute for the 76ers this season, but they were seen practicing on Friday which could mean we get to see them in action tonight. The Sixers are desperate to get something going here, they find themselves near the bottom of the East at just 1-4 after 5 games played. Tyrese Maxey is trying to carry to load all by himself, he’s averaging 31.5 points per game on the season.
Philadelphia would be wise to start both Embiid and George here, because after tonight’s game the Sixers go out on a 3-game West coast road trip. Assuming those two play, you can only imagine the crowd support the team will get as they search for their first home win of the season. In the end I think they get one over the shorthanded Grizzlies, so let’s back the Sixers to cover.
Grizzlies vs 76ers prediction: Philadelphia +2.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
