Houston Rockets vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/26/24

This Houston team probably shoudn’t be losing to a team like Portland, as they did in their last game. Especially after beating them with ease the game before. Still, for the most part, the Rockets have been solid this season, 12-6 SU. That is with terrible shooting too. If they can keep up their strong defense as their shooting improves, and it should, there could be a lot more to this team this season. 

Minnesota has lost their last two games to drop their record to 8-8. Point guard Mike Conley missed the last game and is day-to-day right now. The fact that they almost won at Boston without him, might mean this team is turning a corner. Rookie guard Rob Dillingham scored 14 points off the bench, giving their second unit a spark. This team just does not have a lot of life to it some nights, even with high flyer Anthony Edwards. 

Houston is a team that the league wants to believe in. I do too, but they are inconsistent, so even though they have been solid in underdog roles this season, I am not sure I want to put my money on them here. Minnesota is far from a sure thing but it is a relatively small margin to cover.
