Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/06/24
Warriors vs Celtics Pickswise Expert Predictions
Golden State has been surprisingly good to start the season. Klay Thompson is now in Dallas, but the Warriors are 6-1 SU/ATS. Apparently they did not get the memo that they were supposed to fade as they aged in the super competitive Western Conference. All of this success has come even though Stephen Curry is not even averaging 20 ppg. Plus, nobody is averaging even 30 minutes per contest. I don’t know if they can keep it up, but the Dubs are a team to watch.
The Celtics have looked sharp early, too; they also have just 1 loss. Big man Kristaps Porzingis is out, while forward Jaylen Brown missed Monday’s contest against Atlanta (an easy win). He is listed as day-to-day and might have been held out against the Hawks because it was a back-to-back situation for the C’s. This team gets so much production from so many sources, so it is well equipped to win even without him.
Boston is a pretty significant favorite in this spot. Since these teams met in the NBA Finals a couple of years back, they have split their regular-season games — with each team winning at home. Look for that trend to continue on Wednesday night. Boston should win, but it might have a hard time pulling away if Brown is not on the floor. I am leaning into Golden State keeping it close enough.
Warriors vs Celtics prediction: Golden State +7.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
