Bulls vs Pistons Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Chicago Bulls will have a challenge on their hands as they visit the Detroit Pistons today. Zach LaVine is listed as doubtful to play and without him they could find themselves short of firepower. It is something they will desperately need, especially considering the form that Cade Cunningham is in for the hosts. He dropped 40 points in his last outing and has now managed to score at least 30 in 3 of his last 4 games. With Nikola Vucevic playing at center for the Bulls, Cunningham should have plenty of success in attacking him in pick and roll situations. The visitors have been playing small without LaVine recently which should mean Tobias Harris should have success dominating from the high post too.
The Bulls offense has been their main concern of late, ranking just 26th in the league in offensive rating over the last 10 games. They have been 25th in true shooting percentage too. If they struggle to get going tonight, it could turn into an easy night for the hosts. While the Pistons have not been much better in both of those categories, they will be helped by the fact that the Bulls are dead last in the league in opponent second chance points per game during that stretch. Jalen Duren can be a force on the boards and is more than capable of taking advantage. Back the hosts to cover the spread.
