The Rangers’ starter today leads the league in ERA and has surrendered only 10 hits and 2 runs all season in 26.2 innings of work. He falls in the 99th percentile in pitching run value and 86th percentile in xBA and has been nothing short of stellar. The Giants are below the current league average in BA and wRC+ against right-handed pitching and Mahle should continue to have success on the bump in this matchup. 

San Francisco starter Robbie Ray (4.07 ERA, 1.56 WHIP) hasn’t been nearly as efficient as Mahle, but he has a favorable matchup against a struggling Texas offense.
