Oregon Ducks vs Texas A&M Aggies Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/26/24
Oregon vs Texas A&M Pickswise Expert Predictions
Oregon and Texas A&M face off in the opening round of the Players Era Festival and expect to see a lot of points in this one. Texas A&M has struggled to shoot well so far this season, but their offensive output has remained solid thanks to their rank of second in offensive rebounding rate, per KenPom. Their ability to crash the offensive glass should provide a huge boost to their point total in this matchup against Oregon, which is still learning how to structure its defense without N’Faly Dante this year. Dante averaged 9.2 rebounds and just under two blocks per game during his senior season last year, so his absence could be felt against a relentless offensive rebounding team like Texas A&M.
On the other end of the court, Oregon’s offense is off to a decent start, as they rank 33rd in KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency despite not shooting well from beyond the arc thus far. Starters Jackson Shelstad and TJ Bamba have combined to shoot 28.2 percent from three so far and both players shot at least 34 percent on high volume last season. Texas A&M allows a high rate of three-point attempts, so perhaps this is the game in which the Oregon sharpshooters begin to shoot better.
Oregon vs Texas A&M prediction: Over 145.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
