Brown Bears vs Kansas Jayhawks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 12/22/24

The Ivy League and Big 12 get ready to battle it out on Sunday afternoon as the Brown Bears get ready to take on the Kansas Jayhawks. Brown is 7-4 on the season and will be hoping to pull off a massive upset against No.8 ranked Kansas.  Kansas has struggled in their last couple of starts, going 3-2 in their last five games.  These two teams have faced off twice against each other, and the last these two played dates back all the way to 1997. Kansas is 2-0 lifetime against Brown and they’ll be hoping to make it 3-0 after Sunday’s matchup.

The Bears haven’t played a single team this season that comes close to the level of talent that Kansas has.  The Bears lost to Holy Cross, Maine, and Siena this year, and neither of those teams have the talent of a Big 12 school.  Kansas has three scorers who average double digits per game, and they’ll be looking for Hunter Dickinson to have a big game against this Bears team as he averages 15.6 points and 10 rebounds per game.  As for the Bears, they have four players averaging double digits per game, and leading this team is Kino Lilly Jr who’s averaging 20.2 points per game.  I think the Bears will be amped up in this game against Kansas as they want to make a statement in the college basketball world, but unfortunately for them, I don’t think they’ll come away with a victory.  However, I do think this Browns team has enough talent and will be playing with everything they got to give Kansas a hard enough time.  Look for Brown to give it their all and score enough points to cover this large spread, making the Brown Bears my best bet of the day.
