Golden Knights vs Sharks Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Vegas Golden Knights travel to San Jose to take on the Sharks for the third and final time this season. The season series has not been close. Vegas has won both games and combined to score 13 goals in those games. We know the Sharks are a bad defensive team with below-average goaltending, but when they face the Golden Knights, the game isn’t even competitive. Some people may think that we will see a closer matchup this time around, but that couldn’t be further from the trust.
The Sharks have won 2 games in a row but didn’t really dominate any of their opponents. This is a young team that is in the bottom half in goals per game and goal against. The expectation is that Alexandar Georgiev gets the start for this one and he has been nothing shy of horrendous this season. Vegas is the better team on paper and it’s not even close, but they can’t come out and just cruise to a victory. This could be a trap game, so be aware of that. With that said, I still like the Knights to cover the puck line, so that’s where we will be placing our hard-earned money on Tuesday.
Las Vegas vs San Jose Sharks prediction: Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (-105) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
