St. Louis Blues vs New York Rangers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 11/25/24
Blues vs Rangers Pickswise Expert Predictions
The St. Louis Blues travel to New York to take on the Rangers for the first time this season. St. Louis made a coaching change earlier this week and brought in former assistant coach Jim Montgomery, fired by the Boston Bruins last Monday. The Blues are one of the league’s lowest-scoring teams and fail to generate many scoring chances. The change might do them some good, but we are unlikely to see anything immediate.
New York is the better overall team on paper and it’s not even close. They have a ton of depth up front, a solid defensive core and elite goaltending. They have lost 2 in a row, but a return home should change things. They are 5-3-1 on home ice and should be able to skate circles around this St. Louis team. The Blues have lost 3 of their last 4 games and have scored just 7 goals in that span. Look for them to come out with some extra urgency and pace to their play, but when it comes to scoring goals, I just can’t see them competing with the Rangers.
Blues vs Rangers prediction: Rangers 3-way ML (-150) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
