The New York Rangers travel to Seattle to take on the Kraken for the first time this season. New York comes into this game with a 5-1-0 record on the road. They have a very deep forward ground, a good defence and an elite goalie. They are the better overall team and no is questioning that. They do however, have their hands full tonight.

Seattle has won 4 games in a row and are looking to keep their success on home ice going. They are playing the tail end of a back-to-back and their third game in four nights. As good as they have been at home, fatigue is going to catch up to them. Joey Daccord played yesterday, so there’s a good chance we see Philipp Grubauer get the call. The veteran netminder is 1-5-0 this season with a 3.27 GAA and a .877 SV%. Those are some pretty terrible numbers. If the Rangers generate enough scoring chances, they are going to find the back of the net more than a couple of times. Seattle isn’t a high-scoring offence, so once they fall behind 2 or 3 goals, the game is basically over. Look for the Rangers to take care of business in regulation.
