It has been tough sledding for Washington’s offense, as they have scored just 4 goals in over 180 minutes of gameplay (less than 1.33 per game). Their solid depth has been outmatched by Carolina’s powerful roster, causing them to be smothered and unable to perform to the level they typically can. Home ice is an advantage that greatly worked in Carolina’s favor, as the energy gave them on-ice strength, and head coach Rod Brind’Amour was able to line-match efficiently. These same factors will likely come into play in Game 4, and the momentum is fully in favor of the Hurricanes. The Vegas Golden Knights are looking to get back to even in their series against the Edmonton Oilers tonight. They got a lucky break in Game 3 when Leon Draisaitl deflected the puck into his net with 0.6 seconds left. Sometimes, you need luck to win a hockey game. The Oilers are hoping to take a commanding 3-1 lead, but will they get decent enough goaltending for that to happen?

Stuart Skinner has yet to win a game this postseason, but for all the heat he has taken, the last game wasn’t all his fault. He does need to elevate his game, but his defense needs to be a lot better. Edmonton got off to a great start last game, but they couldn’t lock things down. The Golden Knights haven’t done a great job generating offense, and with Mark Stone questionable to play tonight, we could see a low-scoring contest. Let’s lock in the Under at its current number and hope Skinner can put together a decent performance.

NHL betting has a 1.5-goal spread known as the puck line (PL). Again just like baseball betting has the run line (-1.5).
