Top NFL Agent Earnings Revealed
- Todd France from Athletes First currently represents 32 players on an NFL roster with the current contracts totalling $935,058,008.
- With agent commissions capped at 3% in the NFL, France and CAA’s Tom Condon have both netted over $28 million dollars from active contracts.
- Condon’s most valuable player is Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen who recently signed a six-year contract worth $258,034,000.
Every year, NFL fans become used to seeing superstar players sign massive contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars. But, what about the people behind these huge deals?
Pickswise have decided to rank the agents behind these lucrative contracts based on the money they earn from players currently on rosters.
Tom Condon only represents 24 players currently on rosters, but he has a high number of quality clients which has helped him have an average contract value of just under 40 million dollars – the highest out of all the agents studied.
David Mulugheta was the mastermind behind Deshaun Watson’s four-year $156,000,000 contract extension and while it’s been a rocky year for Watson, Mulugheta has quickly established himself as one of the most influential agents in the NFL.
The 38-year-old has 42 players on his books and has bagged just under 25 million dollars in commission from current contracts alone. As well as Watson, Mulugheta handles negotiations for top-class players such as Jalen Ramsey, Michael Thomas and Budda Baker.
Drew Rosenhaus is arguably the most famous agent in the sport and his reputation is justified as he represents the most players in the NFL. Rosenhaus currently represents 68 players and has earned an average of over $300,000 per current contract.
Rosenhaus’ current most valuable player is Jaguars guard Andrew Norwell. His star-studded clientele also includes four-time Super Bowl Champ Rob Gronkowski, speedy wide receiver Tyreek Hill and Packers running back Aaron Jones.
