Following an eventful opening weekend and exciting game on Thursday, Week 2 of the XFL season continues this weekend with 3 more matchups. Spring football is back in a big way, and with that comes a number of ways to bet on the action. I have combed through the board and found a few edges that I believe can create a parlay with an excellent payout of over 8/1 odds!
Let’s take a look at my 3-team mega parlay for Week 1, but make sure you also check out our XFL picks for the weekend’s biggest games.
Arlington Renegades ML (+175)
Las Vegas Vipers -3 (-110)
San Antonio Brahmas -3.5 (-115)
Parlay odds: +884

Arlington Renegades ML (+175) over Houston Roughnecks
To start off this mega parlay I’m going with the Renegades on the money line. This number simply feels like an overreaction to Houston’s 33-12 win in its opener. However, that dominant victory likely had more to do with the fact that the opposing team was starting Paxton Lynch at quarterback than anything else. Lynch was awful and his backup wasn’t much better, tossing 2 more interceptions after replacing Lynch midway through the game. I don’t actually think Houston did anything that impressive offensively, as the Roughnecks’ own quarterback Brandon Silvers threw 2 interceptions in the win. The Renegades have a very stout defensive front, as they combined for 3 sacks last week. Look for this defense to make life hard on Silvers and lead Arlington to an upset victory.
Las Vegas Vipers -3 (-110) over DC Defenders
The DC Defenders won their first game, but only because Seattle melted down in the closing minutes. This Defenders offense had done virtually nothing all game, as Jordan Ta’amu completed just 8 of his 19 passes for 86 yards and an interception. On the flip side, Las Vegas actually played quite well despite losing its opener; quarterback Luis Perez was able to consistently move the ball and threw 3 touchdown passes.
Perez had the third-most passing yards of any quarterback in the league, and about 3 times as many as Ta’amu on the other side. That’s likely in large part due to the fact that the Vipers have what appears to be the most talented receiving corps in the league. Jeff Badet had 81 yards and 2 touchdowns last week and Las Vegas also has Geronimo Allison and Martavis Bryant, who both had a lot of success at the NFL level. Look for the Vipers to get their first win of the season in this one.
San Antonio Brahmas -3.5 (-115) over Orlando Guardians
To close out our mega parlay I’m taking San Antonio -3.5 over Orlando. The Brahmas suffered a crushing 18-15 major comeback loss against the Battlehawks in Week 1, but they were in position to win the game throughout. However, the same can’t be said of the Guardians, who were outmatched from the beginning in a 33-12 loss to Houston.
Brahmas quarterback Jack Coan struggled in the opener with an interception and a lost fumble. Yet, he was still better than both quarterbacks that the Guardians played, as they threw a combined 3 interceptions in the loss. Orlando is probably not as bad as it looked in Week 1, but the Guardians showed no reason to bet on them this weekend. The Brahmas did lead the XFL in rushing with 133 yards accumulated between running backs Kalen Ballage and Jacques Patrick out of the backfield. If San Antonio leans on its ground game to minimize the turnovers, the Brahmas should pick up their first win.
