It’s the final week of the XFL regular season, and for the most part it was a pretty successful year. After 9 weeks, the DC Defenders sit at the top of the standings with an 8-1 record and the Orlando Guardians are in the basement with a 1-8 record. All we know going into Week 10 is that the Guardians and Vipers have been eliminated from the playoffs, but the rest of the seeding is fairly wide open.
With that said, let’s get into my XFL Week 10 mega parlay that pays out at over 8/1 odds at Bet365 Sportsbook.
Guardians alternate spread +7 (+115)
Roughnecks ML (+100)

Orlando Guardians +7 (+115) over St. Louis Battlehawks
At the beginning of the XFL season I was fading the Guardians with every chance I could. The team seemed like the island of misfits as their quarterback situation was ugly and the locker room chemistry was through the floor. However, that changed when they finally benched Paxton Lynch. Orlando was 0-4 and averaged just 12.25 points per game after their Week 4 defeat to the Roughnecks, and that’s when the Guardians made the switch. Quinten Dormady took over as quarterback and they immediately became a more competitive team. In Weeks 5 through 9 with Dormady throwing the passes, Orlando has averaged 26 points per game and even knocked off the DC Defenders — the best team in the league.
The Battlehawks have been one of the more consistent teams in the XFL behind the strong arm of AJ McCarron. However, they showed that they can be vulnerable recently with their overtime win over a bad Vipers defense in Week 8 and an 18-point loss to the Sea Dragons in Week 9. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them win this game, but I think it will be closer than the oddsmakers anticipate. I’m backing an alternate spread that has the Guardians keeping this game close at great odds.
Houston Roughnecks ML (+100) over Arlington Renegades
Arlington comes into this game with just 1 win in the last 4 weeks. The Renegades have had one of the most unreliable offenses in the XFL this season with just 12 total touchdowns through 9 weeks. They are tied with the Brahmas for the fewest number of touchdowns, but after those 2 teams, the next lowest-scoring offenses are the Battlehawks and Vipers at 23 scores – 11 more than Arlington. The Renegades average just 15.22 points per game behind their below-average performances from their quarterback Luis Perez and underachieving backfield.
It’s been a steep decline for the Roughnecks in the last few weeks. They were a perfect 4-0 after Week 4, but they come into this matchup with a 6-3 record. Houston’s struggles began when Brandon Silvers slowly started to get worse and worse and got no help from his running backs to take off some of the pressure. With that said, they have looked better in the last few weeks and I think they still have enough talent to win their final game of the regular season.

Seattle Sea Dragons -10 (+110) over Vegas Vipers
Emotions will be running high for the Seattle Sea Dragons on Sunday night. Seattle defensive end Chris Smith tragically died on Monday night. No details have emerged about the death, but the 31-year-old NFL veteran was a big piece of the Sea Dragons’ locker room and was looked up to by the entire team. Sunday night’s game will be the first without him, and I expect the Sea Dragons to play for Smith — which means they will do everything they can to earn a big win for him. Heading into this Week 10 matchup, Seattle is 6-3 but has won 6 of their last 7 games. They are one of the hottest teams in the XFL led by Ben DiNucci, so this could easily turn into a blowout.
It’s only been 9 weeks, but it’s felt like a long season for the Vipers. They are 2-7 and eliminated from playoff contention, so no matter what, their season is over after Sunday night. It was a rough season for the Vipers, as their defense never really found its style and their offense lacked chemistry between Luis Perez and the receivers. Vegas has lost 3 of its last 4 games coming into this final matchup, and with Seattle playing for more than just a win I think this game should end with a double-digit win for the Sea Dragons.
