I’m going to take the over 142.5 here as I think the Sun will score more than half and Sparks are averaging roughly 71.3 points per game post all-star break, but have been on the road for 3 of their last 9 games. Also, the Sparks are going for their 19th consecutive win at Staples Center – plus battling for a playoff opportunity.
Sparks Over 66.5 (-105)
I know last outing against Connecticut, the Sparks only reached 61 points – and that they are facing the league’s best defensive team again tonight. However, in 14 games at home, LA has only failed to reach 67 points three times. In the 9 games post month-long pause, LA is averaging a league-low of 71.3 points per game while the Sun is only giving up 64.5 points per game. I will take my chances as the Sparks have the second-highest field goal percentage (42.7) against the Sun’s defense and the Sparks need this one to keep the playoff hope alive.
