Heat burn Celtics in ECF Game 1
Despite holding an 8-point lead at halftime, the Celtics lost Game 1 of the ECF to the Heat following a catastrophic 3rd quarter where Miami outscored Boston 39-14. It awaits to be seen how the Celtics will respond in Game 2 tomorrow, for which they are 4-point underdogs.
Strong MLB day for Pickswise cappers
There was no shortage of MLB games yesterday as we feasted on an 18-game slate, and it was a solid day for the Pickswise experts as they went 10-8 on sides and 9-7-2 on totals. We are now 26-16-3 on totals over the past three days.
Avs edge Blues in overtime
It took the game going to overtime, but Stanley Cup favorites Colorado was able to secure a 3-2 victory over St. Louis. That was fine by us, as we were on Blues +1.5 on the puck line! Meanwhile, the Lightning crushed the Panthers 4-1 on the road to secure the Game 1 win.

We have two more NHL Playoffs second-round series starting tonight as the Rangers meet the Hurricanes, while a battle for Alberta supremacy takes place between the Oilers and the Flames. Don’t miss our picks for those matchups, including a 3-star best bet.

Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames Over 6 goals

The Calgary Flames struggled to score goals in the opening round of the playoffs as Jake Oettinger of the Stars ended up saving 16 goals above expected through the 7 games, which is nothing short of amazing. Their opponent in net tonight, Mike Smith, is nowhere near that caliber. The Flames scored 3.66 goals per game in the regular season, which ranked 6th-best in the NHL and through 4 games against Edmonton they scored 17 total goals.
