Welcome to Wednesday, Pickswise Nation. There’s no easy way to say this, but we’re looking at the quietest sports betting day of the year so far across America today. Don’t worry, though, the MLB action is just 24 hours from returning and we’ve got much to look forward to in the days and weeks to come. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!
About Last Night
American League extends dominance in All-Star Game
Our Stat of the Day in Wise n’ Shine yesterday was that the American League had won 8 straight MLB All-Star Games and 15 of the last 18, well make that 9 straight and 16 of the last 19 now. The AL won 3-2 at Dodger Stadium despite the National League going 2-0 up in the first inning. Giancarlo Stanton of the Yankees won the MVP award, and JutPicks hit his prop for the game with both teams scoring well below 6 runs.
Tomorrow’s Slate
MLB returns tomorrow
There’s no action in America’s ballparks today but the MLB returns with 6 games tomorrow, including two doubleheaders, and you can read our previews for Thursday’s MLB games.

Quote of the Day
“That’s probably one of the hardest balls I’ve seen hit from the on-deck circle. I don’t even know if you can put it in words how hard he hit the baseball.”
Byron Buxton admired Giancarlo Stanton’s home run before blasting one of his own in the MLB All-Star Game.
