The Super Bowl is rapidly approaching now but there’s also plenty of great sports action today, with NBA, NHL, college basketball, and EPL soccer games, plus the Winter Olympics. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!
About Last Night
Sensational night of NBA handicapping!
The Pickswise team dunked all over the odds on Tuesday’s NBA games, going 9-1 on the sides! We cashed our NBA parlay (Suns ML, Nuggets -6.5, Bucks -4.5), and all 4 of our NBA props from JutPicks and PropBetGuy cashed too, giving those plays a 10-2 record over the last 3 days! The day’s biggest trades saw CJ McCollum join the Pelicans from the Trail Blazers, while Domantas Sabonis was acquired by the Kings in a 6-player trade with the Pacers.
Shocks in the NHL
There were a couple of unexpected results in the NHL on Tuesday, with the Senators hanging on to beat the Hurricanes 4-3 after taking a 4-0 lead, and the Jets beating the Wild 2-0.
Auburn upset by unranked Arkansas
We went 2-1 on NCAAB best bets on Tuesday, with 2 totals picks cashing. The big news on the hardwood, though, was unranked Arkansas beating #1 Auburn 80-76 in overtime, ending the Tigers’ (22-2) 19-game winning streak.

Best Bet of the Day
Los Angeles Lakers -7.5 vs Portland Trail Blazers
10:00 pm ET
The Lakers suffered a tough 15-point loss at home to the Bucks last night, but the Blazers don’t have a player as good as Giannis Antetokounmpo, and this game should be easier. LA is 4-2 against the spread in the last 6 games, and against the Blazers the Lakers are 7-3 SU in the last 10 meetings while covering in 6 of their last 7 visits to the Moda Center. Portland made the headlines yesterday when trading CJ McCollum to New Orleans. They are on a 6-game losing streak and Damian Lillard remains out with an abdominal injury. Their scoring has taken a huge dip as a result and they’ve registered under 100 points in 4 of their last 5 games. Take the Lakers to cover. Read our full game preview for Lakers vs Trail Blazers.
