It’s another terrific Tuesday of sports with NBA, NHL, and college basketball, plus MLS playoffs and Champions League soccer to enjoy. Let’s get straight into it!

About Last Night

Washington wins third game in a row on MNF
The Football Team recorded their third straight win with a 17-15 home success against Seattle, lifting their record to 5-6 and seeing the Seahawks slump to 3-8. It wasn’t the greatest game, but Pickswise advised taking the Football Team ML and under 47 points, which both cashed, so it’s not all bad! PropBetGuy’s top play of Tyler Lockett over 61.5 receiving yards was another winner for Pickswise Nation. Find out what Ricky Dimon made of both teams in our Monday Night Football reaction.

Pickswise cashes two same game parlays on a great night of NBA betting
It’s always nice to cash a same game parlay and even better when we get two in the same night! Our man Filip Tomic was on a heater, with a +672 odds parlay on the Nuggets vs Heat game and a +830 odds parlay on the Pelicans vs Clippers game.

More NHL props success
The Flames beat the Penguins 2-1 in the NHL’s top game on Monday, while the Coyotes pulled off an upset with a 1-0 win over the Jets. Our top prop bet of JT Miller over 0.5 points was a winner, meaning that our last 4 NHL props have cashed.

Tarleton go close to huge upset, cover against Gonzaga
Gonzaga was a -31.5 favorite against Tarleton on Monday but the Bulldogs, who had won 55 straight contests at home, had to work hard just to get the win. Tarleton trailed just 26-25 at halftime and led 30-28 with 17 minutes left before Gonzaga pulled away to win 64-55.

Today’s Slate

Warriors vs Suns is not to be missed
There are only 5 NBA games today but two of them are on TNT, and games don’t get much better than a showdown between the 18-2 Warriors and 17-3 Suns, which is at 10:00 pm ET. The earlier game is pretty good, too — a Battle of New York between the Knicks and Nets at 7:30 pm. Read today’s NBA game previews here and check out our same game parlays for Knicks vs Nets and Warriors vs Suns from the in-form Filip Tomic.

Top NHL teams in action
There are 8 NHL games today with Capitals vs Panthers and Hurricanes vs Stars among the top games. Check out today’s NHL game previews

Tuesday night college basketball
ESPN has a nice double-header on today’s college basketball action with Florida State vs Purdue at 7:30 pm ET and Duke vs Ohio State at 9:30 pm ET. Check out our previews of today’s top college basketball games.

Super soccer showdowns
Soccer fans have plenty of midweek action to enjoy, with today’s slate including New England vs New York City in the MLS playoffs and two Tuesday afternoon EPL games. Read today’s soccer picks

Best Bet of the Day

New England Revolution ML vs NYCFC
7:30 pm ET, FS1

The New England Revolution dominated the MLS this season, setting a league record with 73 points in the regular season, clinching the Supporters’ Shield and a first-round playoff bye with nearly a month left to go. It has been more than 3 weeks since their last game, but that should not worry the Revolution, who lack a clear weakness. From goalie Matt Turner up through their solid defensive line, the skills of Carles Gil in midfield and the finishing ability of Gustavo Bou and Adam Buksa up front, this is the best team in the league. NYCFC has finally played to its potential over the final month of the season, plus a first-round playoff win, but the Revolution should come through in 90 minutes. Read our full game preview for Revolution vs NYCFC.

Must-watch

There should be some smiling faces on today’s episode of our daily betting show Let’s Bet It! (there always are!), as hosts Jared Smith and Lauren Jbara both cashed their Plays of the Day on Monday’s show. Lauren took the WFT -1 and Jared picked under 5,5 goals in the Vancouver vs Montreal NHL game.

Today’s show will include this week’s early college football bets, today’s NHL Ice Picks and Plays of the Day, and the team will be joined by college basketball analyst Jim Root (@2ndchancepoints).

Must-read

There was major baseball news yesterday, with Max Scherzer joining the Mets and Jared Smith breaks down what that move could mean for the MLB markets in a special edition of Back to the Futures.

You can also check out today’s NBA mega parlay (+1232 odds!). Be sure to head over to the Analysis tab for all today’s great betting content as it drops throughout the day.

Stat of the Day

The Brooklyn Nets are 8-11-1 against the spread this season and just 3-6-1 ATS in the Barclays Center.

Boost of the Day

Devin Booker & Stephen Curry to record 10+ combined threes made

The stakes are high in the Best of the West clash between the Warriors and Suns, and bettors who think Devin Booker of the Suns and Golden State’s Stephen Curry will be draining a lot of deep shots can back them to combine for 10+ made three-pointers at enhanced odds of +370 with DraftKings Sportsbook (enhanced from +320).
