YRFI/NRFI streak reaches 10-0!
The stunning success of our new daily first-inning best bets article continued on Monday as Caleb Wilfinger went 2-0 for the 3rd straight day, taking our run to an incredible 10-0 and 12-2 since the column began. Keith Schmelter, who began the 10-0 run with a 2-0 day, last Thursday, is stepping up to the plate today with two NRFI picks. We were also 2-0 on MLB props yesterday thanks to Javan Shouey and a bonus NRFI play from Mark Zinno. On the diamond, the Royals won both legs of their doubleheader with the Tigers, the Rays beat the Red Sox 10-5 and Max Scherzer won his battle against Max Fried as the Mets beat the Braves 4-1.

All of the dominant numbers for the Yankees aren’t a surprise anymore, and it has made it difficult to find value in their games. However, the run line still has value.
