Is everyone ready for a little March Madness? The Round of 64 of the NCAA Tournament gets started today, and Thursday’s sports lineup also includes action from the NBA, NHL, golf and soccer. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Field of 64 is set
Wright State and Notre Dame claimed the final places in the NCAA Tournament Round of 64, winning their First Four games on Wednesday, with the Irish celebrating on St Patrick’s Day today after their 89-87 double overtime win over Rutgers.

Great night in the NBA for Pickswise
It was a busy day in the NBA on Wednesday with 12 games, but our handicappers went 9-2-1 on the sides and 7-5 on totals,  while Germantas Kneita aced his props picks, going 4-0 on the night. The Mavericks beat the Nets 113-111 with a 3-point buzzer-beater by Spencer Dinwiddie. The Celtics beat the Warriors 110-88 in another notable result.

Perfect day in the NHL
There were just 4 games in the NHL on Wednesday, but Pickswise went 4-0 on the sides in those games, including our only 3-star play. Not only that, but props expert Ryan Hodges was red-hot too, with 2 plus-money winners, AND our NHL parlay cashed at +317 odds. There was little drama on the ice, with the Blue Jackets, Wild, Flames and Lightning all winning by at least 2 goals.

Best Bet of the Day

Gonzaga Bulldogs -23.5 vs Georgia State Panthers
4:15 pm ET, TNT

March Madness is all about upsets, but don’t expect the biggest one possible when Gonzaga plays Georgia State. The Panthers are trying to become only the 2nd #16 seed to beat a #1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament, but an easy win for the favorites looks much more likely. Gonzaga has been waiting a year for a chance to exorcise the ghosts of last year’s loss to Baylor, which denied them a perfect season. The Bulldogs lead the country in both scoring and field-goal percentage. The Panthers simply don’t have the talent to contain the Bulldogs’ guards or match up with Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren on the interior. Take Gonzaga. Check out our full preview for Georgia State vs Gonzaga
