NBA Best Bets go 2-0, big shocks elsewhere
The Pickswise team went 2-0 on NBA Best Bets on Wednesday as our 3-star plays of Lakers -3.5 and Celtics -5.5 both cashed. Underdogs struck in some other games, though, with the Thunder (+600 ML) beating the Mavericks 120-114 in overtime as 11.5-point underdogs, the Wizards (+400 ML) taking down the 76ers 106-103, and the Rockets (+5) beating the Cavaliers 115-104.
NHL mega parlay cashes
Our NHL handicappers signed off for the all-star break by cashing a mega parlay at +747 odds on Wednesday with the Wild and Flames puck lines and the under in Kraken vs Islanders bringing us home.
Perfect day on college hoops 3-star picks
It was a 2-0 day on best bets for college hoops, too, as over 142 in Purdue vs Minnesota and Missouri +5.5 both cashed. Illinois beat Wisconsin 80-67 with Kofi Cockburn scoring 37 points.

The Suns are the only team in the NBA this season with multiple streaks of 10+ wins and they are showing no signs of slowing down. They just beat Brooklyn 121-111 at home for their 11th consecutive win. Deandre Ayton came back after an injury in that game, and Jae Crowder is expected back tonight. This team is almost back at full strength, and they’ve covered in 5 straight road games. The Hawks are a decent 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 home games, but some of that success happened because of a weaker schedule. Take the Suns to continue their hot streak.
