Wednesday’s MLB Best Bet of Mets -1.5 against the Reds was trouble-free as New York won 10-2, and the Pickswise team had a great day on total over/unders too, going 10-4, with the Blue Jays vs Orioles game being rained out. There were quite a few extra innings needed, with the Brewers beating the Rays 4-3 in 10 innings, the Angels getting past the A’s 5-4 in 12 and the Rangers beating the Astros 8-4 in 10.

The Cubs and Reds have both been under teams of late. The Cubs are is 3-7 O-U in their last 10 games, while the Reds are 2-8 O-U over the same stretch. With these lineups, it is hard to expect an offensive explosion. Rookie pitcher Nick Lodolo could be a real difference-maker for the Reds in this game and hold down the Cubs.
