No. 1 seeds perish on night of upsets
The Titans and Packers didn’t appear in the wild-card round last week after earning a first-round bye and neither of the No. 1 seeds will be appearing in the championship games either, after Cincinnati beat Tennessee 19-16 with a walkoff field goal and the 49ers staged a crazy late rally to beat the Packers 19-16 with a matching finish. That means the winners of the Bills vs Chiefs game today will host the AFC Championship, while the NFC Championship will be hosted by the Rams or Buccaneers. Last night’s winning teams rank 4th and 6th in the revised Super Bowl betting, with FanDuel Sportsbook now offering: +350 Chiefs, +400 Buccaneers, Bills, +450 49ers, +600 Rams, +700 Bengals.
NBA underdogs cover but don’t win
The favorites won all 3 Saturday NBA games but none of them managed to cover their respective double-digit handicaps. The Bucks, Cavs, and Suns won but spread backers of the Kings, Thunder, and Pacers cashed.
Devils blow away Hurricanes
The upset on Saturday’s NHL slate saw the 15-19-5 New Jersey Devils come from 2-0 down to beat the 27-9-2 Carolina Hurricanes 7-4.

Huge day of NFL ahead
