There is a jam-packed Saturday of sports ahead of us with college football, NBA, NHL, and English Premier League action, plus the continuation of horse racing’s Breeders’ Cup. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

College football clean sweep
Our college football experts nailed the ATS and Over/Under plays for both Virginia Tech vs Boston College and Utah vs Stanford on Friday night. Boston College’s dominant defensive effort resulted in a 17-3 victory, while Utah embarrassed its Pac-12 rival 52-7. We are now 6-2 ATS and 6-2 O/U so far in Week 2. As we try to continue this hot streak, be sure to check out all of our college football previews and picks for Saturday.

Parlay pleasure in the NBA
There was also plenty of success to be had in the NBA. We went 6-3 with our ATS/ML picks, including three legs of an ATS parlay featuring Sacramento, San Antonio, and Portland. All three teams covered their respective spreads, resulting in a +608 payout. Our NBA best bet also hit, as Washington easily covered a -1 line in its 115-87 beatdown of Memphis.

The mighty Ducks
The Ducks extended their winning streak to three games and kept the Coyotes (0-10-1) out of the win column with a 3-1 victory on Friday. That result also extended our NHL best bets record to 3-0 in our last three while cashing a +476 three-team money line parlay that also included the Kings and Predators. Oh, yeah; we also hit our three-team mega parlay. Winnipeg -1.5, Los Angeles ML, and the Nashville/Vancouver Under resulted in a +777 payout. Yes, it was a good day for anyone who is a part of Pickswise Nation!

Today’s Slate

Auburn vs Texas A&M headlines college football schedule
Only one all-top 25 showdown is taking place on the college football gridiron this week, and unsurprisingly it comes in the SEC. No. 13 Auburn is paying a visit to No. 14 Texas A&M. Andrew Ortenberg has the full breakdown for the CFB game of the week.

A total of 18 games across the NBA and NHL
College football certainly doesn’t have the stage all to itself, as there are 12 games in the NHL and six in the NBA. The on-ice festivities are headlined by an incredibly intriguing contest between the Hurricanes (9-0-0) and Panthers (9-0-1). Read today’s NHL game previews here.

Breeders’ Cup, soccer, and UFC action to savor
But there’s more! The 2021 Breeders’ Cup, the highlight of the US horse racing calendar, continues at Del Mar race track. There are five English Premier League games, too. Finally, it’s another fight night in the octagon. The UFC 268 card includes Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington and Rose Namajunas vs Weili Zhang. Here are our UFC 268 best bets.

Best Bet of the Day

Michigan State Spartans -3 over Purdue Boilermakers
3:30 pm ET, ABC

We have been on the Michigan State bandwagon for much of the year—and with plenty of success. There is no reason to jump from it now as the undefeated Spartans try to keep their momentum going at the expense of the Boilermakers. Purdue (5-3), has scored more than 24 points only once since its second game of the season. Can the underdogs keep up with Kenneth Walker and company? We don’t think so…. Read our preview and picks for Michigan State vs Purdue.

Stat of the Day

The 76ers (7-2) are dead last in the NBA in total rebounds, averaging 41.1 per game. That includes a differential of minus-3 per contest. They were out-rebounded 47 to 35 by the Bulls (6-2) in their head-to-head contest earlier this week. The rematch is set for Saturday.

Boost of the Day

Penn State Nittany Lions and Wake Forest Demon Deacons both to win
Boosted to +210 with FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a Saturday boost involving one former top 10 college football team and one current top 10 team. A two-leg money line parlay that includes Penn State and Wake Forest has been spiked from +170 to +210. The Nittany Lions are -9.5 favorites at Maryland, while the Demon Deacons are +2.5 underdogs at North Carolina.
