Oregon cashes parlay on huge day of college basketball betting
After Houston covered a -14 spread against Rice and Purdue covered -23.5 against Indiana State, Oregon (-7) capped off our +614 college basketball parlay with an 86-63 rout of SMU. It was an all-around successful day in the gym for Pickswise, as we went 2-1 on best bets (including Purdue), 20-10 ATS/ML, and 21-8-1 O/U.
Warriors beat Bulls, now 11-1
On paper the Warriors faced perhaps the toughest test of their season in the previously 8-3 Bulls. However, Chicago offered little resistance in a 119-93 loss to Golden State. Stephen Curry drained 9 three-pointers and finished with 40 points. We, for one, had plenty of faith in the Dubs and backed them on the -5.5 point spread.

There are three all-top 25 showdowns taking place on the college football gridiron this week, including No. 8 Oklahoma putting its undefeated record on the line against No. 13 Baylor. Here is our full breakdown for the CFB game of the week.
A total of 20 games across the NBA and NHL
College football certainly doesn’t have the stage all to itself, as there are a whopping 13 games in the NHL and 7 in the NBA. The on-ice festivities are headlined by some incredibly intriguing contests: Panthers (10-2-2) vs Lightning (6-3-3), Rangers (7-3-3) vs Blue Jackets (7-3-0), and Blues (8-2-2) vs Hurricanes (10-1-0). Read today’s NHL game previews here.
Duke back in action, Gonzaga takes on Texas
Some of the top college basketball teams in the nation will be showcased on the hardwood on Saturday. Duke, which beat Kentucky in its season opener on Tuesday and crushed Navy on Friday, should make light work of Campbell. A much more mouth-watering matchup pits Texas against Gonzaga. Check out our college basketball previews and picks.
Best Bet of the Day
Miami (FL) Hurricanes -2.5 over Florida State Seminoles
3:30 pm ET, ESPN
Miami is over .500 for the first time this season and it will try to stay that way when it travels to Tallahassee for a date with rival Florida State. The Hurricanes have picked up some nice momentum by winning three straight games at the expense of Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, and N.C. State. They are averaging 30.4 points per game in ACC play and 310.1 passing yards per game overall. Meanwhile, Florida State (3-6) is coming off back-to-back losses at the hands of N.C. State and Clemson. Read our full game preview for Miami vs Florida State.

Stat of the Day
During last week’s 24-3 loss to Oklahoma State, West Virginia converted only 14.3 percent of its third downs (4-for-13). The Mountaineers will have to be better in that department if they want to compete with Kansas State on Saturday. The Wildcats are on a 3-game winning streak in which they are allowing just 15.3 points on average. KSU is giving up a mere 223 passing yards per game this season. Kansas State -6.5 is one of our best bets of the day.
